History of KPH Construction Corp.
Owner and founder, Keith Harenda, built KPH on seven years of experience as a co-founder and vice president of an environmental construction company, and on vitality and a dedication to client service rarely seen in business today. His perseverance and hard work have transitioned KPH from its founding in 1999 to a recognized general contractor and environmental management firm.
As the company expanded its operations, it organized a team of skilled professionals and carved an unusual niche in the construction and environmental abatement industry and the ability to combine project phases. Because of its experience in environmental work and general contracting, KPH can merge demolition with asbestos, mold, or lead abatement phasing to save customers time and money. Clients, including area hospitals and schools, commercial organizations, the City of Milwaukee Housing Authority, and Milwaukee County, have been so satisfied with the company's work that they have offered KPH successive contracts, spurring the company toward continued expansion.
With expertise in general contracting, and knowledge of environmental planning and remediation, KPH is able to serve a variety of public and private clients and to manage both new and existing construction. As an indicator of its construction expertise and environmental proficiency, KPH is responsible for managing Milwaukee County's Home Owners Protection Program (HOPP) and for coordinating environmental planning, compliance, and renovation for 90 Covenant Healthcare facilities in Southeastern Wisconsin. Its alliance with Covenant was fortified by a 5-year working relationship in which KPH completed renovation work and environmental upgrades for St. Michael Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee.
As KPH rapidly expands, the company continues to actively serve healthcare, government, educational and commercial organizations while expanding its interests and versatility to new industries. KPH currently is completing its second condominium complex in Oak Creek, and is managing the planning and construction of five custom, single-family homes in Brookfield under its newest business venture, KPH Homes.
Private or public, environmentally clean or environmentally suspect, KPH brings experience, efficiency, and a diverse pool of knowledge to every job. Company growth has not swayed KPH from living its founding vision; providing the highest quality of work possible while forming lasting relationships with clients built on trust, safety, and comfort.
